In the elections held for 11 Legislative Council seats of the state, veteran leader of OBC community from Vidarbha and former Minister of State Dr. Parinay Phuke was elected as a member of the Legislative Council in the elections and counting of votes held today. Dr. Phuke thanked all the MLAs and senior leaders of the party for his victory.
Dr. Phuke was earlier elected as a member of the Legislative Council from Bhandara-Gondia Legislative Council constituency in the year 2016. On winning this seat, the then Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis honoured him with a ministerial post in the cabinet and gave him an opportunity to serve the people. Not only this, Dr. Parinay Phuke was also made the guardian minister of Bhandara and Gondia districts.
When Phuke became the guardian minister, the public was highly impressed by his impressive style. Soon he became popular in both the districts as well as in Vidarbha by becoming the voice of the OBC community. Now after his becoming an MLA again, happiness has returned again among the people of Vidarbha, the OBC community and the party workers and officials.
Dr. Phuke has emerged as a leader who strongly stands with the OBC community in Vidarbha and fights for them. There is a wave of happiness in the entire Vidarbha including the OBC community and Bhandara-Gondia district after he became a member of the Legislative Council.
To celebrate the victory of Dr. Parinay Phuke, victory celebrations were held at his residence and office in Nagpur. In many areas including Bhandara, Sakoli, Lakhani, Tumsar, Gondia, celebrations were held and congratulations were given. On social media too, BJP workers, office bearers, fans, OBC community organizations are sending their congratulations for the victory.
